Speaking

Zonnie Gorman is the foremost expert on the First Twenty-nine Navajo Code Talkers - the original group of Navajo men who created the foundational code used during World War II by all Navajo Code Talkers. She speaks to universities, museums, and audiences throughout the United States and Canada! Zonnie’s personal journey of growing up with her father, Dr. Carl N. Gorman, connects her individual experiences as the daughter of a Navajo Code Talker with her extensive on-going academic research to learn what her father, and 28 other Navajo men, did with the US Marine Corps during WWII.
